Oh ! You still here ! Well here's chapter one of my P&P fanfic !


It was rainy today. I like the rain but this day of July wasn't a great day for such weather. I was going to my beloved cousins house and I didn't want to die while on the carriage. It would be such a shame.

I honestly could not believe it. I was finally going to see my lovely family again.
Well my extended family but still.
My beautiful mother was in Sweden with my dad, who is kind of a diplomat. I miss them sometimes.

But anyways who cares. I was finally free after molding like a dead rat in the London Girls School. It was not that bad, but being in that boarding school all year was draining. But it was worth it.

The ride to Longbourn was pretty good even though there was some serious holes on the ground. My poor behind.
We also found a kitten while we were stopping for a picnic ! She was a lovely brown and white kitty who was crying when I found her behind a rock. I decided to kept her with me and to name her Spoon. I simply hope that my aunt will like this new guest !

After a day of travelling, we arrived at the Bennett's house. It has such a lovely garden and trees and a lake too ! The minute I stepped outside I hear the girls coming to welcome me ! Jane was glowing and Elizabeth (yes like me) had a huge smile on her face. Mary was trying to to catch up with them, a sheet of music in her hand.

Elizabeth ! Said Jane, you're finally here ! After all these years ! Look at that kitten, can't he be more pretty ?

Oh Jane ! I've missed you so much, and Lizzy you too ! I can't wait to talk to you all-night long ! And to walk to Meryton to see the shops !

Come inside my cousin ! You must say hi to Mother ! exclaimed Lizzy

A big ginger man took my things and we ran inside while Mary had just joined us. Spoon was in my arms and the girls showed me all the house. Mr Bennett was taking a nap upstairs but Mrs Bennett greeted me with joy and told me that Netherfield was let at last with a huge excitement.

From what I remembered, Netherfield was a huge house near here with a lot of books. We were still talking in the living room when Lydia and Kitty finally came.

Elizabeth ! You're here ! And you've got a cat ! Said Kitty with joy, why didn't you tell us Jane ?

You too were occupied to steal some clothes off of my wardrobe for the Townhall of tonight to even notice !

Yes it's true, oh Elizabeth, I can't wait for it, said Lydia wistfully, and Mister Bingley is gonna be there !

Who's that guy ? I asked

He has 5 thousands a year and he's the man that is staying in Netherfield, I think that's all you need to know about him, laughed Lizzy

5 THOUSANDS A YEAR ? Well... I know why your mother was so excited today !
I responded

After this joyous reunion, I let Spoon play in the grass with the chicken and went upstairs to choose my dress for tonight. Just one day in Longbourn and it was already the best time I've ever had. So much life and joy here.
With the help of Kitty and Jane, I chose a dark red dress and Lizzy helped me do my hair. I also gave them the gifts I had bought in London. Then we ate, both metaphorically and physically and I finally saw my mom's big brother, Mr Bennett. He smiled when he saw me, saying that I looked exactly like his sister when she was my age. That made me happy and kind of sad too. I missed my mom. But I had my cousins, and I loved them so much.

It was time to dance !
I busted my best dance moves and oh boy they were great. Well I think they were. Anyways. I danced with a brown hair guy and then with a blond one. Best time ever. Then I talked with Charlotte, Lizzy's best friend and I immediately knew that she would become a good friend. She was so funny !! AND THEN, OH MY.

A blond guy, two women, a older man and a brown-hair man appeared. And everyone went silent. Not gonna lie the blondie and the akward brown hair guy were kinda... But when I saw Jane's face, I knew that Blondie was a no.
And THEN, the tall guy looked at Lizzy TWO TIMES, like he double-looked. Pff that's not fair ! Why can't I get a cute guy ! I'm just joking obviously 🤭

And the whole event, Jane danced with blond guy who happened to be that Bingley man... And they were SO cute together. Aunty was overjoyed to say the least.
But for the brown-hair cutie, well he said that Lizzy was "barely tolerable".
Pfft I had two things to say to his face :

1. HOW DARE YOU
2. I saw your little look don't lie you-

Well, I don't know how it will go this year but I hope it will be exciting !
