This enclosure trap was designed to catch an extremely trap-shy lost dog. It is 9 L x 4 W x 5 H with a guillotine door (made of corrugated plastic) on the right end and a large door (currently latched closed) on the left end. There is a pin in the guillotine door attached to a string which is looped over a pole across the back of the trap. When the dog pulls on the dangling bait, this pulls out the pin and the guillotine door falls closed. As you can see in the video, the demo dog had some difficulty grabbing the bone, and at least one lost dog was afraid of the hanging bait. In this case, the string was threaded under a second pole across the back of the trap (also pictured) and the bone lay on the ground.
