जीवदानी मंदिर | विरार मुंबई | Jivdani devi temple Complete Guide

The ancient famous Maa Jivdani temple is located on the Jivdani hill in Virar, a suburb of Bombay. In 17th century there was a fort by the name of Jivdhan on this hill. To reach here you travel by train via Virar Station on the Western Line of Mumbai Suburban Railway Network or you can travel via Diva Vasai Train.
This temple remains open from 5 am till 9:30 pm. The Aarti was conducted three times a day, 1st at 5:00 am, 2nd at 12:00pm & 3rd at 7:30 pm in the evening.
The Temple is located on the hilltop of Jivdani Mountain, The height of the mountain is approx 900 feet. To reach on top you have to climb approx 1400 steps.
Recently the temple management has started a Funicular Ropeway for the comfort of visitors.
