Today, on our 2016 Ford Explorer, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter. First thing we need to do is remove our old air filter. Going to find this large pipe, it's going to be right underneath this section here. Pop these clips off. We're going to lift up and kind of pull them back, just like this. The air filter sits right down in here.

Go ahead and pull out our old one, and you can see how much stuff collects in there. What this is going to do is when it starts collecting all this dust, doing what it's supposed to do, dirt debris, stuff like that, this is going to slow down how much air flow is going into your engine, which in turn is going to raise gas mileage.So, I would suggest checking your filters every six months or so, and then probably replacing them every year. It's a good inexpensive way to keep your gas mileage down and your engine running right. So, now that we've got our old one out, we'll go ahead and put our new one in. This is what our new one is going to look like, you can see how clean it is.

We're just going to put it right in place of our old one. It's going to be custom fit and just put our cover back on, snap our clips down. You're ready to roll and save money. That'll do it for a look at and installation on the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter on our 2016 Ford Explorer.
