ROMANIA 04.06.2018 - U.S. Marines with Black Sea Rotational Force (BSRF) 18.1 acquired new tactical skills during non-lethal weapons training aboard Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania on April 6th, 2018. Sgt. Antoni Wherry and his fellow non-lethal weapons instructors taught the Marines how to employ tasers, utilize crowd control formations, and conduct themselves under the stress of being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC). The Marines practiced using shields, batons, inert OC spray and formations to diffuse various situations. This training was just one of many events BSRF 18.1 plans to conduct during their time in Europe.
