In this video I'll show you how I illustrate lyrics from start to finish. Well, not just lyrics-it could be a drawing of a quote, or illustrating a saying, or name, or whatever you want! But, these are lyrics by the band Jawbreaker.

I start with a rough sketch, and then make a tighter sketch from that, and then I'll tighten everything up in my final linework. After that I'll start the coloring process, followed up by some subtle shading and highlights.

I'm working in Adobe Fresco on my ipad, but the process would be very similar in Procreate or any other drawing software-or even IRL with tracing paper.
