The Luxury Real Estate of Highland Park:

Sightseeing and driving down the roads of Highland Park is one of my favorite things to do here. Since 1913 this town has been dazzling the eyes of Dallas with its massive mansions and luxury sports cars. Just driving through town you’re guaranteed to see something cool parked in someone's driveway or a property for sale with a sticker price that could make you wish you had that kind of money.

Every mansion in Highland Park is an architectural wonder. The luxury real estate here is some of the most beautiful I have seen in Texas and the houses are well worth a quick look at to see what your empty pockets are missing out on. For instance, one home in Highland Park is currently listed at $20 million dollars while a single lot that isn’t even 1 acre is going for over $15 million.

Highland Park Country Club:

This prestigious country club caters to the wealthiest of the wealthy in Dallas. If you’re thinking of walking in and joining then think again - this club is by invitation only and no amount of money is going to get you a tee time here. The club has rejected many and accepted a few but even if you were accepted be prepared to fork over an initiation fee of $100 thousand dollars.

Lots of rumors surround the club such as millions being gambled away on card games and one man even losing his entire car dealership business.

About Highland Park:

If you’re driving through the neighborhood or town you might feel like you’re in Beverly Hills. That’s because Wilbur David Cook, the landscape designer of Beverly Hills, designed Highland Park and even made 20% of the original land dedicated to parks.

Parks:

Parks like Turtle Creek, Lakeside as well as Prather and Davis Park are all amazing places to soak in the sun or dine in the shade. I’d first suggest you take a walk down Lakeside Drive that borders Exall Lake to really take in the nature of the surrounding area and luxury homes that border the streets.

Highland Park Village:

Some of the best shopping with the most expensive items reside in Highland Park but if you’re on a budget and need something to eat then I suggest taking a step inside Mi Cocina - the enchiladas are simply delicious! After you fill your stomach take a peek inside the Village Theater and see what is showing.

No matter what you do in Highland Park you are sure to enjoy a relaxing unique evening that only Highland Park can offer.
