Two major city downtown sirens in one week! This Federal Modulator is located in downtown Detroit along the river, at Rivard Plaza to be specific. Detroit's downtown coverage is kind of lacking from what I've been able to gather so far. This dinky little Mod is the only siren I've been able to find in the immediate downtown area. There's an SRNB west of downtown at Murphy Playlot, and several 130s in Midtown, but nothing really downtown. Detroit was on the ball with activation, tones dropped just before 1:00. We think the tests are probably automated. Sirens are tested on the 1st Saturday of the month at 1pm.
