Seventeen-year-old high school senior Blake Frasure made his weekly pick-up run Monday as part of a unique effort to raise funds for his high school pickle ball club. Since November, he’s placed donation boxes at those locations and around Arete Preparatory Academy asking the community and fellow classmates to clean out their closets and donate gently used shoes. Blake says they need paddles, nets, and balls. Instead of just asking for money, he wanted to find a way to give back as well, and that’s when he came upon Funds2Orgs.
