Round 1: Mulligan aggresively. There's only one brick in this deck (archespore) and the deck is so polarized and lacking any consistency card that it's not uncommon to miss your golds in your deck. For that exact reason, you'd want to play Ritual early because she thins the deck a lot, especially if you use strategem or even Arachas Queen. Also, try to use Giant Toad this round as carryover. Against decks that may play Geralt: Yrden, never give up round 1 because long round 3 and no final say is pretty much a death sentence against Yrden.

Round 2: You'd want to bleed your opponent. Almost all your golds can be played at any round except Brewess Ritual (play as early as possible). When bleeding, the strategy is either save Haunt for round 3 and play Dettlaff + Arachas Queen round 2, or vice versa. It depends on your hand, since a lot of the times, consistency is this deck's biggest enemy. As for leader charge, a lot of times if I have Giant Toad carryover for round 3, I'd prioritize saving toad instead of leader charge simply because toad is one stronger by one point. Although against Yrden, toad forces you to play back row and therefore plays more into Yrden.

Round 3: Short round 3 Yrden cound be devastating. Play around it by spreading your boost in melee and ranged row. If you are saving Dettlaff + Arachas Queen combo this round, don't be greedy and watch out for Heatwave. The order ability of spawning Arachas Nest is never worth it to leave AQ unconsumed if you have the option.
