Bianchi Oltre XR4 First Ride - Is a £13k bike that much better than a £6k or £1.5k bike ?

After over 8 months the wait is finally over. It's time to ride my Bianchi Oltre XR4 with Campagnolo Super Record EPS. Let me show you some of the details before I head out for my first ride and try to answer a question that I've been thinking about since we started this project. Can a £13k bike really be that much better than a £6k bike like my Specialized Venge, or even my first road bike, a Giant Defy that if bought today would cost you about £1.5k ?
