This video is very important— Cultural Awareness in nursing.

There honestly was not a ton about this on NCLEX but definitely some key things (which I star throughout the video).

Nevertheless it’s so crucial to understand show up for your patients and meet them from a place of non-judgement. Many things I didn’t even think about before reading this chapter/going through cultural awareness things in school (like how in some cultures eye contact is disrespectful).

Bottom line, we want our patients to feel safe and supported under our care.
