Are Salaries Higher In Australia or New Zealand?

In this video I compare the average wages in New Zealand and Australia. I use official government statistics data from 2023, both the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Statistics New Zealand. Wages in the two countries have been a major point of discussion in recent years. It is often said that salaries are much higher in Australia. In this video I overlay the official government statistics, with the difference in income taxes and the effects of currency exchange. This gives a fair and full view of where post-tax wages actually sit.
