Nat Vazer paints folky indie-rock storytelling with dream-pop pastels. Harking from Naarm but musically worldly, she is increasingly spending time sharing her music overseas. Although her lyrics are full of personal detail, there’s something enigmatic and distant in the delivery. It’s like a photographer capturing a scene while remaining unseen but in control. A trained civil litigator, music was an escape and obsession. It’s not a hard case to make that this is just the beginning for Nat Vazer.

Sounding both haunting and comforting in the same breathe, in “Rumours” Nat Vazer doesn’t just send shivers down your spine, she sends you back in time.
