The Future of Energy: Inside the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline Project / Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline Project

The Iran–Pakistan gas pipeline, also known as the Peace Pipeline or IP Gas, is a 2,775-kilometer pipeline that will transport natural gas from Iran to Pakistan. Construction began in 2011, but the Pakistani government did not officially approve the project until 2024. In March 2024, Pakistan announced the construction of an 80-kilometer segment of the pipeline within its territory.
