Nothing wrong with a ZZR 250! This is NOT a Kawasaki Ninja 250!

Описание к видео Nothing wrong with a ZZR 250! This is NOT a Kawasaki Ninja 250!

When I was looking for my budget commuter bike, I came across two Kawasaki variations of their older 250cc class bike, which I was unaware of. The Ninja 250 and the ZZR 250.

The Ninja 250 has a steel tubular frame, while the ZZR sports a much more attractive aluminum frame. According to my research, the Ninja 250 has a max horsepower rating of around 29HP, while differing websites say the ZZR (made in Japan models) create between 35-40HP. Front fork tubes on a ZZR are also larger than the Ninja 250. Apparently, they are the same size as what's on a Kawasaki Ninja EX500. ZZR's have flush mount front signals from factory, Ninja 250's don't. ZZR's are equipped with a lot more chrome components, including optional full chrome pipes like on mine.

I'm quite sure there are other differences, I don't know all of them yet.

Please correct me if I'm wrong in the comments or feel free to leave additional findings.

Anyhow, my 2005 (Japan made) ZZR 250 has been through at least 10 different owners and I got it for a song. I really can't complain about anything. It's close to original, I don't plan on trying to "Bro" it out, 'cause once you start messing with things, you're only looking for trouble. Just ride, change the oil once in a while, and enjoy! IMHO, get a bigger bike if you want more torque and horsepower!

This is a quick demo of how she rides.....hope you like! No need to subscribe, I do this for fun!
