My Snake Pass card is finally stamped!
This is a video of me riding the A57 (Snake Pass) from Glossop to Ladybower, and then on to Derwent Visitor Centre.
I’ve edited out waits at traffic lights - nobody is interested in seeing that!
Snake Pass is a wonderful road (bar for the sections of road works), with enough twists and turns to keep things interesting, a good road surface and some stunning scenery. I’m glad I had the opportunity to ride it and hope to revisit again one day.
Disclaimer: I am not a fast or technical rider. I don’t feel the need to have revs up and my knee down. I enjoy the twisties as much as the next biker but I do so on my own terms.
