[4K] Sydney Darling Harbour Winter Festival, 8 June 2021: Ice Skating Ring, Lights and more.

Filmed on 8 June 2021 on a rainy day.

We'll start walking from the north side (Barangaroo side) of Darling Harbour, towards the main part of Darling Harbour, then cross the bridge to the west and continue south to reach the Convention Centre Forecourt (where the ice skating ring is).

More of the Sydney Solstice festival this year is in Tumbalong Park. Because it was raining a bit, we'll check out Tumbalong Park on another day.

What is Sydney Solstice?

8TH - 20TH JUNE 2021

In the lead up to the longest night of the year, Sydney will come out of hibernation for an action-packed festival celebrating food and drink, art, entertainment and culture.

This Winter, Darling Harbour welcomes the Winter Festival as part of Sydney Solstice, a two-week long celebration of winter foodie favourites, fireworks, a harbourside ice rink as well as live entertainment. From 8th - 20th June, Sydneysiders can take advantage of the buzzing and vibrant atmosphere with a host of attractions, free activities and special offers.

The festival will be sprawled out across two iconic Sydney locations including Tumbalong Park and the Convention Centre Forecourt, both right in the heart of Darling Harbour.

The Tumbalong Park hub will include loads of exciting, party vibes brought to you by an eclectic mix of Sydney based DJ’s dropping banging beats through the day and into the night, with a hearty market full of winter warmers will keep everyone energised with wintery delights. The ice skating rink and slide at Convention Centre Forecourt will keep everyone entertained with music, skating performances, demonstrations and workshops and an opportunity for young and old to unleash their inner Torvill and Dean. From families to date night, Darling Harbour will have it covered this Sydney Solstice.
