How to power switch rails on three-way points:
Peco n-gauge three-way points (SL-E399F) have isolated and separately powered frogs. However the switch-rails depend on the electrical contact with the stock rails in order to be powered.
In this video I modify a 3-way point, identifying the parts of the three-way point that make up the 2 frogs and switch rails, and separately powering the switch rails to ensure that they have a secure power supply even if dirt prevents a good electrical connection between the switch rail and the stock rail.
