In this video I take you through an application demo for my next up-coming course. It's a Android app that communicates with a REST API from food2fork.com.

It's built using the architectural design pattern known as MVVM.

The REST API requests are made using Retrofit

There's a database cache built using SQLite and the Room persistence library

There is a loading animation when the user reaches the end of the list (this is known as pagination)
