Making of "Shampoo Fighting Stance" Animation

This is a montage of everything I went through to create this "simple" animation. From the first animation sketch to the final full-color version with colored lines and voice by Waka.
Fun Facts:
- There are 10 drawings in this animation. 5 of which are minor variations of the other 5 to make her do this fancy move with her right mace.
- The eyes and mouth are animated on separate layers.
- At first, I didn't want to color the lines and planned to keep the lines black to keep things simple. However I ended up coloring the lines while waiting for Waka to send me her voice clip. It looks so much better.
- I originally didn't place to make a background either but I ended up drawing one to do the animation justice.
- Her maces are drawn from a 3D model I made.

What if we had a Ranma 1/2 fighting game with modern graphics?
I wanted to animate Shampoo in a fighting stance. It took me a long time to polish the pose. I also spent a lot of time doing the animation sketch before doing the final lines and colors. I also wanted to add a little variant to the animation so I made her do a little fancy trick with her right mace.
