Dr Reshma Shriyan, a senior consultant physiotherapist from Mumbai, demonstrates various exercises that should be performed week by week following breast surgery in this video.

In this video we'll discuss Exercises for Third & Fourth week!

The third and fourth weeks also require the same workout, but the time and intensity can be increased.
and quit exercising in that position if you experience any pain.
If you have any wooden sticks that are lighter than 1 kg, you can use them to perform stretching exercises with after the fourth week. You can try lifting weights gradually after the fourth week and after seeking medical guidance.

1:55 Workout for the arms
Holding the wooden stick in your hands, raise your arms, count to five, and then slowly lower them back down to complete the workout.

2:17 Modification for arm's exercises
Take a wooden stick and hold it in your hand to complete the modification of the arm exercise. Raise your arms high, then tuck them carefully behind your back. Before raising your arms once more, count to five. ten times, repeat this technique.

3:00 Stretching exercises
The wooden stick should be held in front of your chest with both hands, pulled toward you, and propelled forward. Ten times through this exercise.

3:30 Exercise to stretch the shoulders
Holding the wooden stick firmly in both hands, turn it completely around while maintaining a straight back and shoulders.

4:30 A back-and-arm workout
The wooden stick should be held in your hands behind you as you bring it back, hold it for a count of 5, and then bring it forward again.
