Frollo/Renee - Open up Your Eyes (13+)

Frollo had lost his wife, Juliana, and was trying to raise his crippled daughter Renee, but was shocked to find she had fallen in love with the gypsy boy, Sacha.
Frollo then tells Renee to grow up and see from his point of view. Long ago he and his brother were raised by their mother and father. Their father was an adulterer and his mother blamed other women for tempting him. But Then the plague came and killed his parents and everyone he once knew save for his brother, Jehan. Frollo tried to raise him right but Jehan grew to be spoiled and impulsive just like their father. He fell for a gypsy girl, Florika, and that made the disfigured Grinning Man, Sarousch jealous. Frollo found Jehan gutted and murdered.
All this time Frollo had been trying to find a curse for the plague that killed his parents through science and alchemy, but slowly it dawned on him that maybe the gypsies were to blame for everything, the temptations, the murder of Jehan-- the plague itself! From that day on Frollo vowed to rid Paris of this plagued race in order to protect the last shred of family he has left, his daughter, Renee Frollo.
