Gun Loco was a cancelled game made by AQ Interactive (now Marvelous AQ, I tought it was a western studio project at first) and published by Square Enix that was an Xbox 360 exclusive, it was announced at Gamescom 2010 and playable a month later at Tokyo Game Show 2010. In March 2011, just seven months after its reveal, it was cancelled for reasons unknown.

Playing the game showed me a mostly mediocre experience, the poor framerate didn't help either (trust me, its the damn 60 FPS auto conversion that made it look smoother than it is), the running mechanic perhaps can be interesting in escape scenes, and overall, it seems to be a mix of the Club kill n Run style with a cartoony character design that reminds me of Total Overdose. Likely the developers kept getting not positive reaction from testers and decided to cancel it.

The story as it was published is about a planet prison that only the worst criminals are in, you play as a Maddox who alongside Nuts is escaping the planet (as far it seems), but there's also a third character in the group called Mifune, that for some reason is not even mentioned in the cutscenes and dialogue. Nuts looks even like a Bugs Bunny character by the way he speaks.

Note, this is the SP component from the TGS, the MP build so far isn't released.
