It’s Christmas Eve and there’s nowhere we’d rather be than back on the river on a crisp winter’s morning. However, on this occasion we’ve briefly ditched the float rods and taken a huge step outside our comfort zone in an attempt to get to grips with a method that, over the last 2 decades, has seen a huge rise in popularity; Euro-nymphing.

Is the insurmountable excitement and enthusiasim shown by the ‘purist’ Grayling angler truly justified?
