Advocate of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rishikesh Kumar on April 23 informed that the judicial remand of the Delhi CM has been extended till May 7 and that the hearing for the challenge of the arrest of the CM would begin the Supreme Court from April 29. He also said that the Supreme Court made it possible for Arvind Kejriwal to get insulin in jail.
“With the intervention of the Court yesterday, the insulin has been given to Arvind Kejriwal after the consultation with the AIIMS Doctor. The requirement was such that the same has to be immediately given and because of the Court, this has been possible. As far as today is concerned he has been produced through VC. ED has moved an application for the extension of the judicial remand. His judicial remand has been extended till the 7th of May. Meanwhile, when we challenged the arrest of the CM, the hearing is scheduled to take place on the 29th. We are hopeful that he will be out soon,” said Rishikesh Kumar.
