In this video, we are going to study Biodiversity, 5 Kingdom Classification system, Taxonomy and Evolution.

1. Classification: Arranging the different organisms of the biodiversity into taxonomic groups based on observed similarities.
2. Evolution: Evolution is the slow process by which organisms change according to their needs to survive the environment around them.
3. Taxonomy: Taxonomy is the branch of science that deals with the classification of organisms.

Biologists, such as Ernst Haeckel (1894) Robert Whittaker (1969), and Carl Woes (1977) have tried to classify all living organisms into broad categories called kingdoms.

The 5 Kingdom Classification is the most widely used
Monera, Protista, fungi, Plantae, and Animalia,
These groups are formed based on the following:
1. Cell Structure
2. mode, and source of nutrition ( Autotrophic/ Heterotrophic)
3. body organization
