Husqvarna 550 xp Mark 1 chainsaw won't idle, how to fix by drilling out throttle butterfly plate. MK1 husky carb is JUNK. The swedes sweded us on this one. Carburetor repair for auto tune chain saw that will not idle. Auto-tune fix mark one without replacing carb. Auto-tune not holding idle. Drill out brass throttle plate to slightly larger size. Progressively go up in size until your saw idles correctly. Hope you find this helpful. The auto-tune carburetor is several hundred dollery-doos, save your money and just drill the thing out.
