Nikon 105mm 2.5 + GFX 50R (IT'S BEAUTIFUL)

In this video, I would like to share the surprising results if you stick a #Nikon 105mm 2.5 Ais to a #GFX50R.

I wanted to try out the Nikon 105 just to see what would happen. I was honestly surprised at how sharp my images turned out after a very quick test, that I decided to use it more.

The rendering of the images were just beautiful, specially when paired with the GFX sensor.

I am blown away by the fact that it covers the whole sensor wide open.

I think distracting vignetting only starts at around F/8, but I have to test it out some more.

This lens is amazing for many reason, but I would like to give you three reasons why you may want this lens.

First, it’s cheap—at around $200 used, I think it’s one of the best lenses you can get at that price point.

Second, it’s small and has amazing build quality. It’s nice not to carry something humongous—you may actually enjoy your photo shoots if you use this lens.

Third, the 105mm is a beautiful focal length, and this ones produces beautiful images. Built in the 1970s, it performs exceptionally well, even with the 50MP medium format sensor. I think any lens that has outlasted 5 decades of technology simply qualify as legendary.
