Students' Alumni Interaction Cell, National Institute of Technology Durgapur along with CAAIR organized a remarkable online Student Alumni Meet with Mr. Saptarshi Dey Under the name of Tech Surfers of Sai cell Mr. Dey has done highly notable contributions in the ever- expanding field of information technology.
The speaker is firmly professional in programming languages Python, java, c++ and namely few. He is proficient in Skill Machine learning, Statistical Modelling and data engineering. Mr. Dey has been a Software engineer at Microsoft for four years of stunning experience. During his days at Nit Durgapur, he was the Vice President of Recursion, the college programming community and conducted regular classes on competitive programming, data Structures Algorithms: Problem-solving and more. He was also the
tester and moderator of several contests held across various online Platforms like Codechef and HackerRank. He has completed internships at hackerRack where he was involved in testing and reviewing stack-oriented problems and hiring contenders.
The speaker briefly explained the process of applying to Various Companies and the importance of building Profiles on Linkedin and the primacy of a Resume to outcast from the competition. He also mentioned the significance of referrals to get flamboyance through the Company. He shared his experience in interviews with manifold companies and how to deal with the questions asked by the interviewers and what type of questions we face in the interview, Mr. Dey Suggested some insights into how to behave in the presence of a recruiter.
