With this Patreon, I hope to inspire you to write. We will use exercises I’ve developed to help you explore your creativity and unearth your ideas. These lessons will help you shut down writer’s block and guide you in taking steps toward developing your stories in an organic fashion.

I’m most well-known for having co-created the “Before Sunrise” film series – and I was nominated for an Academy Award. I’ve written books and have done other forms of writing, including behind-the-scenes things for Hollywood. I’ve also taught writing for many years and have had students at all levels and abilities, and from all backgrounds. My Master’s thesis focused on the psychology of creativity, something that has interested me all of my life.

Because I’m asked for writing advice from people all over the world, I’ve decided to create this virtual creative writing class on Patreon. This will be an interesting (and creative) way to connect with students, something I absolutely love.

We are all naturally creative. Storytelling is truly for all of us. So whether you’re a beginning writer, a seasoned pro, or anything in between, these videos for you.
