The police further appealed to the protestors to help maintain law and order. Meanwhile, the farmer leaders alleged that the security personnel used 'force' against protesters by hurling tear gas shells and firing rubber bullets at them, leaving many injured. The farmers' protest has entered Day 5, and the next round of talks with the Center are scheduled for February 18.
