While world leaders are all burning jet fuel and heading to Glasgow to “parade their great virtuous cause” of reducing carbon dioxide emissions, the UK is short of commercial supplies of the same gas, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Courtesy of our great friend Tim Blair at the Daily Telegraph, in his blog Tim has highlighted how the UK and therefore Glasgow are going through a CO2 shortage - a carbon dioxide shortage,” Mr Kenny said.

“So there you go, all the climate activists, might be caught short of carbon dioxide while in Glasgow. I guess they'll get their hit when they pop the corks on copious quantities of champagne.”
