Holly doesn’t fit in with Thunderclan and struggles to connect with her mother, Leafpool. Continuously going against clan norms, Holly runs away to outside the territory. She finds an orphaned red-fox kit, naming them Rowan. As she raises Rowan, the fox is influenced by Holly’s resentment of Leafpool. Rowan finally snaps and acts on these trained feelings. Holly has the choice of whether or not Leafpool faces her demise.
