George Richard Chamberlain born March 31, 1934, Los Angeles, USA is an American film and television actor, singer.
From 1961 to 1966 he starred in the television series Dr.Kildare, for which he received a Golden Globe Award in 1963. He also starred in such well-known films and televisions as Hell in the Sky, Shogun, The Thorn Birds, Casanova, The Bourne Identity, as well as several feature films.
In 2003, Richard Chamberlain wrote a biographical book, Shattered Love.
The book, he frankly spoke about the suffering he experienced, about the problems that arose in the artist's personal life due to non-traditional orientation.
