One Stick Method: Rappelling with a Mad-rock Safeguard and a Figure 8

Saddle hunting has become very popular the last few years, with that, there are multiple ways to climb the tree you will be hunting out of. Today we will be going over the “one stick method” where you use one climbing stick with an aider to ascend the tree and then repel down. Luke will be using a Mad-rock safeguard as his main device for repelling and Mark will show you an alternative method with using a figure 8 descender.
