Welcome to ChipNRat's Introduction to... series. This video is all about the basics of lane mathematics and how it relates to interchanges and city design with a focus on Cities: Skylines. We cover what we mean when we say "Lane mathematics", how to use it, and cover some examples of where it is used, not used, and how and why it works. We also cover some examples of breaking lane math to help improve your traffic and your city!

In this video we are using Cities: Skylines with mods, however the principles of lane mathematics can be applied without mods and are extremely useful in vanilla.
