We've upgraded the base of the Meta Quest 3 with a number of features, including charging, durability, and quietness from the consumer's point of view.
---First of all, for the charging of the controllers we still chose the magnetic charging function, which makes the handle easier to place and the magnetic suction stronger. For charging the headset we gave up on the magnetic because if you have a headset with batteries, the weight of the back half of the headset will cause it to deviate from the point of contact, which is a very bad feeling. So for headset charging, we changed to a type-c cable for direct connection.
---- Secondly, we built a 1800mAh/2700mWh rechargeable Li-Ion battery into the grip, which not only facilitates magnetic charging but also lasts longer than regular batteries. Lastly, we set the LED light mode to be adjustable and turned off so that it will be very quiet when you use it at night.
