What the Bible Doesn't Say: Revelation

Many fundamentalist Christians anticipate that the world will end within their lifetime and they look for particular signs listed in the Book of Revelation. As it turns out, this has been true for almost a thousand years. As each generation’s belief has been proven false, the next generation simply updates the calculus and reads the signs in their own times. John Hamer of Toronto Centre Place will outline the actual context of the Book of Revelation, how it was meant to be understood by the generation for whom it was written, and how apocalypticists have come to so thoroughly misunderstand the text.
