OK, this is one of the most important episodes that I will ever record.  It’s chock full of advice that I wish I received in high school.
 
I interviewed a friend who is a financial planner and author, Chris Jones, who has been teaching a class to students at a local parochial high school about the “4 Steps To Financial Security.”
 
Chris spoke about the importance of goal setting, understanding debt, different types of savings strategies and other “real world” info that most kids NEVER get in school or after.
 
He calls it “Winning The Financial Game Of Life.”
 
If you have a college-bound teen, I can’t think of anything more important to pass along to him or her.  
 
Take a listen, hopefully you have a pen and paper handy to take some notes, because Chris is FULL of “Chris’isms” – short, pithy statements or comments that get his point across, such as “If your outgo exceeds your intake, your upkeep will be your downfall.”
 
How true is THAT?
