In this video I discuss the ongoing impact that the War in Ukraine is having on the Russian Energy sector. Prior to the invasion of Ukraine Gazprom was Russia's Largest Business by Revenue and also the World's Largest Gas Business. However that has all changed and the company reported a $7 Billion loss for 2023 compared with Profit of $16BN in 2022 and $32BN in 2021. Russian oil companies have also been severely affected and the Kremlin is now reported to be considering both a merger and nationalization.
