Help me identify this old trunk from my great great grandmother

If you know you're stuff about old trunks or chests, please help me identify what this is or how much it's worth. NO, its not for sale....

This old chest or trunk or whatever you want to call it was owned and brought over to America from Europe by my great great grandmother on my mother's side of our family. It has been kept in a closet for many years at my grandma's house. But, we recently got it down here to my mom's house and it's now in the living room on display.

If you can help me identify this trunk, it would mean a lot to my whole family!
