Recently, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Pakistan. During his visit, while speaking Pakistan's language, Erdoğan unnecessarily raised the Kashmir issue. He stated that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to UN resolutions and by considering the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Further, he added that, as always, he stands with his Kashmiri brothers. We know that Erdoğan’s statements often change. In its pursuit of becoming a leader of the Muslim world, Turkey occasionally takes a pro-Pakistan stance. Turkey completely overlooks how India supported it during difficult times, such as the 2023 earthquake. Nevertheless, India always gives an appropriate response to Turkey for commenting on its territorial integrity and sovereignty. This time as well, India raised objections to Erdoğan's comments, making it clear that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh are integral parts of India. And that India does not need any foreign interference in its internal matters.
