There are many Goat Mountains and three Goat Peaks in Washington. The Goat Peak in this video is located about four miles south of Easton. It is the site of a former fire lookout and has a multi-use trail that leads to a vantage point right next to Goat Horns, which are visible from Highway 90. There are pockets of larch trees as you approach the upper slopes, but unfortunately, they had not yet started to turn yellow during the last weekend of September. This hike offers a pleasant view from the top and a moderate workout getting there.
