Welcome to the -ed Suffix Sort! Sparkle the Spelling Star is here to help young readers and spellers learn the three sounds of the suffix -ed in this fun phonics sorting game.

Students will listen to 10 words that end in -ed and decide which sound they hear: /ed/ (like in landed), /d/ (like in called), or /t/ (like in helped).
