DIY Tutorial and How to Build a Non-Circulating Hydroponic Bucket System (parts list below)
This is by far the easiest method of setting up a reservoir and using a float valve to auto-water and auto-feed your plants. Only (3) drill bits and minimal parts. Skill level is beginner.

PARTS LIST (I make no money off these suggestions)

Reservoir (suggest food safe trash can)
Controller bucket (suggest food safe 3.5 gallon bucket)
Grow buckets (suggest food safe 5 gallon buckets)
NOTE: Black, Dark Brown, or Dark Green have good resistance to algae growth.

Once you've learned how to put together the parts in this video, you will quickly master building your own hydroponic systems or even auto-watering container plants. The same system can supply water to self-watering buckets, grow pipes, pot-in-pot-in-pot growing containers, earthboxes, rain gutter grow buckets, and more. With a little creativity, you can even automatically water your AeroGarden over long periods of time.
This less known method of non-circulating hydroponics was developed for larger plants that consume more nutrient and water. Although, it can be used for smaller plants or multiple plants per container.
