EXPAND FOR FULL ETHICS COMPLAINT: This is an ethics complaint against each and every associate justice of the California Supreme Court. Ms. Tani Cantil-Sakuye sat at the helm of a crime empire -- even the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE confirms that during Cantil-Sakuye's tenure as steward of the state courts many courts in California operated as full-blown criminal operations. Many Californians were massively, horribly and negatively impacted before California's courts because of how Tani Cantil-Sakuye reigned as Chief Justice in California AND due to the manner in which she supervised California's ethics agencies (e.g., an independent government investigation concluded that citizens were turned into prey items for unethical judges and attorneys -- the judicial ethics agency ("CJP") even went so far as to sue the investigator to maintain the judicial ethics watchdog "CJP" as a type of secret society in ways the U.S. Supreme Court long ago stated imperils the integrity of the judicial process. Nevertheless, following U.S. Supreme Court precedent is not what California's courts generally do: They have become bastions of arrogant power and endemic corruption. The goal of judicial ethics -- in theory, but not in application in California -- is to "uphold and promote the independence, integrity, and impartiality of the judiciary, and to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety" when conducting the business of the courts. California's justices do the very opposite of that in this video. This is a video by "con-men" (confidence men and women: where the term originates): Had these associate justices wished to say goodbye to their colleague, they simply could have done so privately, and not in their in the robes or the people's courthouse while using the people's money and resources to do so. That is not what judges are hired or elected to do. Judges must operate by avoiding "the appearance of impropriety." Precisely, how do they do that by paying tribute -- in official attire and in the people's courthouse -- to a person many in California consider a criminal (and who may be relevant to thousands of cases)? How do they do these judges "uphold and promote the independence, integrity, and impartiality" of the bench when thousands of mangled cases may come before them due to allegedly criminal, reckless or negligent stewardship of the courts by Cantil-Sakuye -- the very person they are "paying tribute" to? This video is a grotesque display of shameless self-promotion and lack of ethics. California's judicial ethics agency -- the Commission on Judicial Performance -- acts as little more than a judicial corruption concealment operation, so there is zero chance they will even seriously consider a complaint. Nevertheless, complaints against judges should be made publicly at this point to prevent CJP from hiding them from the public. Because of this shameless stunt, each California State Supreme Court justice probably has the affirmative duty to disclose it to litigants to seek a waiver for sitting on cases otherwise requiring disqualification and to explain how the stunt will impact cases that they will afford review to (California Supreme Court review is optional and granted by permission of the judges -- the judges have made clear that they have an incentive to avoid cases about their colleague).
