I have found that sticking valves are almost always due to "extra" stuff in the valve system. Sometimes it is just slime or dirt, which can be washed out. But often the problem is caused by deposits that don't wash off. This product will easily clean the piston valve AND the cylinder with almost no work! It is made by Warburton: "Clean Stroke".
