Hello, everyone! This video is a very basic intro to beatmatching and what I like about it. The focus of the video is just for me to explain as simply as possible what is actually happening when someone is matching beats. I tried my best to stay away from debates about digital vs. vinyl because I actually spin digitally too, using CDJs or a midi controller. However, my first love and highest respect is for the practice of manually matching one record to another, with my ears only, and this is me attempting to explain why.
