Jang e Uhad | The Battle of Uhad | Tareekh Alasail

Jang-e-Uhad, or the Battle of Uhad, was a pivotal encounter in 625 AD between the Muslims of Medina, led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the Quraysh of Mecca. Taking place near Mount Uhad, this battle was the second major conflict after the Battle of Badr. Although initially successful, the Muslims faced setbacks when some archers disobeyed orders and abandoned their positions, allowing the Quraysh forces to counterattack. Despite these challenges, the Battle of Uhad became a lesson in discipline, unity, and the consequences of disobedience. It underscored the resilience of the early Muslim community and shaped future Islamic military strategies.
